Is PanOxyl 4% good for acne?
PanOxyl 4% is used to clean acne-prone skin, clearing oil excess and dirt. This product has excellent keratoitics properties which unclog the pores reducing inflammation an pain. Has great success preventing and treating mild to moderate acne. You may use it in combination with other treatments for acne like Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1%. When applied to the skin, benzoyl peroxide acts by killing the bacteria that cause acne and unclogging the pores. Reducing the amount of sebum on the skin and eliminating dead cells and facilitating the skin’s renewal.
HOW TO USE PanOxyl 4%.
- Wet area to be cleansed.
- Apply panoxyl 4 % acne wash and gently massage area for 1-2 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
- Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2 to 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor.
- If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day.
- Use a sunscreen if you are going outside.
- If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of both products and consult a doctor.
Start with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2 to 3 times daily,

Active Ingredients: Benzoyl Peroxide 4 % (Acne Medication)
Inactive Ingredients: Carbomer Homopolymer Type C, Carbomer Interpolymer Type A, Decyl Glucoside, Dimethicone, Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate, Glycerin, Palmitic Acid, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Polyxoyl 40 Stearate, Propanediol, Purified Water, Silica, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypropylsulfonate, Sorbitan Stearate, Stearic Acid, t-Butyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum.
PRECAUTION WHEN USING PanOxyl 4%.
All Benzoyl peroxide medication may make you more sensitive to the sun. Limit your time in the sun. Avoid tanning booths and sunlamps. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors.
PanOxyl 4% POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS.
Skin reactions such as peeling, irritation and reddened skin may occur, especially at the beginning of treatment. If any of these effects persist or worsen, you must stop using and visit your doctor as sun as possible. You may need to apply smaller amounts of the drug or use it less often.
PanOxyl 4% WARNINGS.
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, inside the nose or in any area of the damaged skin. It can cause irritation. If this happens, rinse the area with plenty of water. Benzoyl peroxide may whiten hair or fabrics. Use it with care and avoid contact with hair, clothing, and furniture.
